![]() :: Research Group Embedded Interaction :: Media Informatics :: Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich As part of the Media Informatics Unit at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich we are involved in teaching various courses for students in Media Informatics and Computer Science. For us, teaching and research are strongly connected. Student exercise and projects are often extracted from the context of our current research work and results from students are fed back into our research. It is interesting how many different skills and how much creativity can be achieved with a class of 40 students! In particular we try in our practical exercises to combine education for the students with a function as a think-tank for our research. Student projects play an important role in the research we are doing. We therefore sometimes send students to other universities and institutions for three to six months to carry out a specific project abroad. See the students abroad page. |
