Student Jobs (Hiwi)

We often look for students that are creative and have good programming skills. Being curious and having an interest in human computer interaction is essential, too.

For us, research often means analyzing an application domain, inventing new solutions, prototyping a novel interactive device, and evaluating it with 'real people'.

If you study at the TU or LMU in Munich and you want to know more about student jobs in our group please contact us at hiwijob @ hcilab . org or see us in our labs.

Student Projects (Projekt- und Diplomarbeiten)

We always have a number of open projects in the domain of embedded human computer interaction. The projects span a wide range, including but not restricted to:

  • hardware related developments (new interaction devices)
  • software and architectures for new user interfaces
  • evaluation and user studies of novel interactive systems

We are always happy if students contribute their own ideas in finding a topic for a project. The examples show a selection of currently open projects (from the lecture at  2004-11-17).

Detailed descriptions of all open projects can be found the page 'Open Project and Diploma Thesis'.
