With this two-part event, we aim to shift researchers and students with interest in Media Design, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence into an Entrepreneurial Mindset. You’ll get expert input plus hands-on building to contrast founder paths with traditional research and learn how to turn ideas into reality.
This edition focuses on creative technology: using generative and multimodal AI to ideate, create, manipulate, and distribute content across text, image, audio, video, and 3D, while respecting provenance, IP, and safety. Friday features keynotes and discussions with AI researchers, founders, and tool builders on pipelines, evaluation, creator UX, and go-to-market. On Saturday (@Wavelab), teams prototype concepts, e.g., real-time editing, adaptive storytelling, assistive tooling (captioning, dubbing, translation), creator analytics, and provenance-aware collaboration and pitch to a jury from industry and academia.
