Bio


Stefan is a research associate at the Human-Computer Interaction group at University of Stuttgart. Since he joined Albrecht Schmidt`s group in 2012, he worked on several projects founded by the European Union such as pd-net, meSch, and SimpleSkin. He is particularly interested in ubiquitous computing (Ubicomp) and human-computer interaction (HCI). Prior, Stefan studied Systems Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen (2005-2011), Germany. During his studies, he worked for 3 years at the Pervasive Computing and User Interface Engineering Group as a student assistant (2008-2011). Additionally, he worked for the DFKI Saarbrücken (2010), BMW Group Forschung und Technik (2010) and Daimler AG (2011) on different projects related to automotive user interfaces. His research interest is in the area of human-computer interaction, in particular wearable computing and usable security.
