About Me


Stefan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Human-Computer Interaction group at the University of Stuttgart headed by Prof. Dr. Albrecht Schmidt. He received his Ph.D. from Stuttgart University. Since the start of his Ph.D. in 2012, he worked in several different national and international research projects and published in the major venues in human-computer interaction. Stefan holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Duisburg-Essen. During his studies, he worked as student assistant at the Pervasive Computing group at the University of Duisburg-Essen and for the DFKI Saarbrucken. He furthermore was an intern at BMW AG and Daimler AG on different projects related to automotive user interfaces. His current research interest is in the area of human-computer interaction, in particular wearable computing and usable security.
