Fall IDC 2023 @ Venice

Participants of the Fall IDC 2023.

Welcome to this year’s fall IDC website organized by the LMU Media Informatics Group! As last years, the IDC will take place on the beautiful island of San Servolo in Venice, Italy, from October 2-6, 2023. The format of the IDC is going to be different this time. We will follow a single track conference format where we will have talks, workshops, and poster presentations by accepted participants as well as input sessions from our keynote speakers.

NFDIxCS meets Human-Computer Interaction
This years IDC aims to identify, define, and deploy services for storing complex domain-specific data objects from various sub-domains within Computer Science (CS), according to the NFDIxCS Consortiums goals . The objective is to implement FAIR principles universally, including reusable data objects that encompass data, metadata, software, context, and execution information in a standardized format.

The registration process will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, we will consider groups and will accept groups from different institutions in batches. The cost for this year’s IDC are covered by the NFDIxCS Consortium. This includes the conference fee, accommodation, breakfast and lunch. Not included are: arrival/departure, dinners, public transport (required to get to San Servolo).

Agenda
Our Programm is structured along 3 Keynotes and 10 Sessions. During the sessions participants will present their work in the chosen medium (poster, presentation, workshop) and receive feedback afterwards. In between the session there will be coffee breaks to continue discussions and connect with others.
